WHAT IS VASCULAR LEGION LASER SURGERY?

This vascular lesion laser has been used for the treatment of various skin conditions. It emits an intense beam of light that penetrates the skin to depth of about 1.5mm (1/20th of an inch). This heats the targeted superficial blood vessels almost instantaneously and so precisely that normal surrounding tissue is hardly affected. This laser is used to lighten or remove birthmarks, port-wine stains, facial telangectasia (prominent blood vessels often called spider veins), and other vascular growths on the skin. It can also be used to treat other growths such as warts.
